Kareem Moffett, PhD

Candidate Cincinnati School Board

Dr. K's platform

  • Our most important issue is to support the PRESCHOOL PROMISE. Our youngest learners need to be in preschool and I will support the Preschool Promise to ensure that Cincinnati 3 and 4 year olds get into high quality preschools and levy money is being utilized for our young learners.
  • I support INCREASED COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & CITIZEN INFLUENCE to bring the school board into the communities. I want to be the eyes and ears for our communities keeping the community informed and the school board influenced by community voices.
  • Every student will not attend college after graduation so I will work to increase opportunities for CERTIFICATION, APPRENTICESHIPS & INTERNSHIP programs. Our students need to have options after graduation so that they can be gainfully employed and contribute to our communities.
  • Our students MUST feel safe and secure within our school buildings and bullying is a concern and reality that we need to raise awareness around and protect our students from every day. I support increasing support for BULLYING PREVENTION and providing more training and awareness for Administration, staff, students and parents and reorganizing policy if needed
